Most people in the blogosphere recognized me as Choc Mint Girl a.k.a Crystal. In this new space, I'd rather be known as Lady Blueberry, but you can still call me Crystal. :) Basically, this section is more into sharing your thoughts and my posts will always end up with question marks. So, you are always welcome to voice out your opinion or experiences in the discussions. Happy reading and sharing! :)

OMG! Do You Serve ‘Hair’ in Your Menu?!!!

My friends and I were having lunch at the café we used to frequent. The waiter came with the wrong order for our guy friend. He was given spicy fried rice where in fact he specifically mentioned, "NO chili". So, he made a new order and we told the waiter that we would still eat the first one and pay for it.

When the new order came, you wouldn't believe this! At first, I found a strand of hair. Then, the four of us used our spoons to examine further. We found another hair. After that, another one and another one and there were MORE!!! The whole rice was mixed with human hair!!! So disgusting and can you imagine how pissed off were we?!!!

What would you do if you find strands of hair in your food?

What’s In a Name?

This may sound crazy, but I have a girl friend who said that her mom let her picked her own name when she was a baby. So, we joked about it... Then, she explained further but still it sounded so funny to me he he he... and she didn't even try to enlighten us with more details, in fact she laughed along. I didn't have any idea what she was trying to say until now. ;D

I've posted a question about this in one of the discussion's sites,

"Would you prefer to choose your own name or let your parents do the job?"

The response I received was quite interesting:-

1. I like to choose my own name if given a chance... I am ok with the name my parents have given me, but I am not satisfied...hehhehe... that is why I came up with a name "LEX" hehehhe... I like that name.

2. I know it is chosen by my parents. I was too young to decide my name. I was about a month old when my name was given. I have heard people change the name when they grow up but have never heard children picking up their own name.

3. Hey, that's pretty weird he he he he...Reminds me of Beethoven the movie...where the kid played Beethoven's song on the piano and the dog barked ha ha ha...Maybe your friend's Mom tried to do the same thing to her hi hi hi... I think I'd let my parents do the job. I think they've done a great job in choosing my name hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi...

4. My father chose my name and I've always been proud to tell other people how I got my name. Now that I'm in Europe, I've never received as much compliments to my name as I was in the Philippines, specially for those who know the meaning of my name, which is "My beautiful".

5. I don't think that matters much!! My name is just like a boy's name, and nearly everybody heard my name will mistake me as a boy, but I don't care though so many friends tell the name doesn't fit me!

What about you?

Sad Movies Always Make Me Cry…

I love this evergreen song and that is so me! I'm so full of emotions every time I watch sad movies. Not only that, any movies that touch my heart, even joyful moments could put tears into my eyes. :)

A few years back, I remember that I shed tears for almost every episode watching a popular Korean series, "Winter Sonata" until one day, my nephews who was 5 years old at that time asked me, "You cry? Again??" Ha ha... He was actually peeking through the bedroom door, which was slightly opened.

How about you? When you watch especially sad movies, do you always cry??

Well, for your listening pleasure and especially to those who don't know the song...
